I just realized after installing Sentinel two days ago that when i receive an e-mail from a forum topic that i am subscribed to and click on the link instead the especific topic on the message I am being redirected to YOU_ACOOUNT page.
It's weird because even though the address on the browser shows the corret url from the e-mail message it will place me into the your_account main page.
What is that ? How can i fix this?
PS: I am running nuke 7.8 patched 3.3 and Sentinel 2.5.0.8 |

You have to have a valid user login cookie in order for you to go direct to the forums especially if that forum is not open to anonymous user. |

Has absolute nothing to do with NukeSentinel and since the forum module in Nuke was integrated it works like that. |

Come on guys i know that. If i posted here is because it'w not working like it was before. I am logged in as a user and also as admin and still when i click on the e-mail link it would get to the your_account page. BUT if i click on the forums and leave the browser open on the forums then go back o the e-mail and click again on the link... guess what it will open another browser but this time at the especific topic, just because my otherinstace was browsing the forums. Isn't that something to think? |

I'm guessing it works for our sites, but perhaps it is buggy with yours. Can you show us where this is occuring?
What version are you using? |

Problem solved.
The issue was with the force NukeURL from sentinel when i deactivate it the links now works flawlessly.
It think it has to do with the link being and the force nukeURL would always force and it would interfere with the link being able to redirect to the right place and not into the your_account page. |
