RavenNuke theme or not?
papamike writes "The new look of my site at Papa Mike Creations is an XHTML 1.1 Strict, fully CSS compliant, tableless site but it is also a RavenNuke(tm) theme. Or better yet it runs on top of RN. I have completely changed the way a CMS should look with my new design.
I wanted to create something new while at the same time make use of RN's features. I turned off the side blocks and created my own using CSS then added the content.
Note:From Raven: Oh - My - Gosh!! Folks, do not miss this. He gave me no warning whatsoever . I am so impressed with this and I don't hand out accolades easily. Kudos to you, my friend!!!

Gallery now available
guardian2003 writes "There is no escaping the reputation that seems to have associated itself with the use of Galleries within *nuke after repeated defacement and other security issues faced by webmasters after installing a Gallery.
I have therefore released CA Gallery today for you to use if you want an alternative."

Another Torrent Engine Shut Down
WIZ writes "
Friends of TorrentSpy,
We have decided on our own, not due to any court order or agreement, to bring the Torrentspy.com search engine to an end and thus we permanently closed down worldwide on March 24, 2008.
The legal climate in the USA for copyright, privacy of search requests, and links to torrent files in search results is simply too hostile. We spent the last two years, and hundreds of thousands of dollars, defending the rights of our users and ourselves.
Ultimately the Court demanded actions that in our view were inconsistent with our privacy policy, traditional court rules, and International law; therefore, we now feel compelled to provide the ultimate method of privacy protection for our users - permanent shutdown. It was a wild ride,
